About
About Us
The Camarillo Spine and Nerve Institute was developed by Dr. Edmond Dooman out of a need to find the right principles to treat patients at a Camarillo Chiropractic facility who thought they were out of options.
Upon completing his education and looking for a place to practice, Dr. Dooman started in England for about a year in a high volume clinic. This clinic had its value in lessons, but they did not practice the Gonstead Method although he did work to encourage the principles while there. Upon returning to the states Dr. Dooman looked for a practice that would be more willing to adopt the Gonstead Method principles and he found a Camarillo Chiropractor that was already on board with the method. He began to work with the doctor and over time took over the practice.
Who We Are
We have dedicated our practice to improving the health and overall well being of Camarillo, CA. Rather than focusing on one problem, we evaluate the whole body to diagnose any disruptions within the spine or discs—even before they become problematic enough to cause symptoms. Using this approach, we are better able to expedite recovery so patients can improve their quality of life.
Customizing treatment to your specific needs is an integral part of our healthcare philosophy. During your initial visit, we will meet with you to review your medical history and conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your spine. Once we have identified the source of your pain, we will develop a plan for effective and long-term relief.
We offer a variety of therapy options aimed at correcting spine and disc conditions, which include:
- Nonsurgical spinal decompression
- Neuropathy treatment
- Vibration Therapy
- Trigger Point Injections
- Nerve Block
If you are currently experiencing back pain, Camarillo Spine & Nerve Institute is here to help.
